![]() This product is truly unique in that its performance improves on hotter days. However, if heat reflection is your priority I think there are other brands that claim to perform better than what 3M claims. For those interested in seeing more tests on other vehicles, just google 'Spectra PhotoSync'. After 16 months, it is still as good as new. Basically top of the line stuff slightly better than 3M Crystalline. So I ended up getting Cyrstalline 40 for the side windows and Cyrstalline 70 on the front and rear windshields (I know, big jump from wanting Cyrstalline 90 initially, but somehow that guy talked me into it )Īnyway, so with regards to the 3M Cyrstalline line I, haven't had issues with the tint itself. 3 Posts 42 (Edited) blavenn said: View attachment 5798 View attachment 5799 I went with Spectre Photosync. They said that no one buys it since the shade was too light for people's preference (in the Nashville area at least), so they just don't sell. I initially wanted Cyrstalline 90 on all windows, but none of the shops within a two hour drive of my area carried it. Use phone, chat, or email to contact 3M, find a location near you, or search for regulatory information. Any ceramic film will do the same as crystalline tint does. stoeger p3500 red dot mount 3M features crystalline, ceramic, nano-carbon and metallic dyed film, whereas Llumar offers a polyester laminate and a ceramic tint. 2) I see the following statistics: 3M crystalline VLT 40 - 90 IR reduction, 60 heat reduction & 99.99 UV reduction compared to Llumar spectre VLT 35 - IR reduction 91, 63 heat reduction & 99 UV reduction. Is this 270 difference worth the benefit of getting a clear film or are there. There was existing window film on the yacht that we removed before applying Huper Optik’s 100 Dye and Metal Free Ceramic window tint. This is quite common with marine window tint installation, as many boat manufacturers apply cheaper, minimally. 3M markets it like its this top notch special thing, but it really isnt. Getting 3M for 770 while Llumar spectre for 500. If you can't see the Crystalline at all I'd give it the nod, but it's hard to see any in person comparisons. The Window Tint Z team recently installed Huper Optik Ceramic tint on this yacht to reduce heat. Spectra has told me that you can still see the 75 "a little bit" and that it's slightly blue. Since my top priority is looks, I'm deciding between Crystalline 90 and Spectra Photosync 75. Madico and VKool arguably have visually the clearest films on the Market to look through. I'm doing the whole car, including the windshield. both have the best standard glass warranty, which is 5 years on Thermal Breakage and 5 years on the units seal for dual pane this compares to 5 and 3 or 2 and 2 for most of the industry. I'm looking to tint and my goal is to get as much heat reduction as I can get while keeping the look of the car 100% OEM.
